Below the reception area is the formal restaurant, which is furnished and decorated in warm colours with a Japanese influence thanks to the Japanese centre near by. Also a wonderful terrace restaurant leading to the Fleet island is offering food, drinks, snacks and coffee. It is a traditional, red brick building situated on one of Hamburg's many canal islands. The large open plan lobby is very bright due to the large windows, which offer a view of the Alster canal. The reception desk is near the entrance. At the back of the lobby are the bar and a comfortable seating area. To the left is the winter garden, a modern bright informal restaurant and breakfast room with large windows, leading onto a terrace, which is open in the summer. Due to its superb location directly on the city's canals and its service, this hotel is highly recommended, also offers plenty of entertainment and multimedia as Internet TV.
